Sit in a chair with legs and arms uncrossed, or on the ground cross-legged.
Close your eyes and focus on breathing slowly and gently. Breathe out any negative thoughts and feelings.
Visualise yourself surrounded by a beautiful, comforting light.
Visualise the light entering the top of your head and spreading to every part of your body – healing and nourishing you as it flows.
Stay with this feeling for a few minutes.
Become aware of your breathing, and of the surface you are sitting on and the noises around you.
When ready, gently open your eyes. Take a few seconds to become grounded before you get up.
